There's a queue of similar cases waiting to be heard - Deliveroo, Hermes, a cycle courier company.......

Not to mention the Revenue finally look to have got their finger out.

[actually, just in case someone picks me up on it, the EAT, like every other appeal court, only interprets the law, it doesn't make it. What they do is provide a precedent that other courts can follow in similar cases].

OP here, I'm going to rent a car. Uber may or may not work, but cell phones are the problem, don't want to depend on a phone

ann, I understand and agree

PA, phone coverage in cities is very very good, but if you have a concern about an App, well up to you.

Heathrow to Salisbury, take care not to be exhausted when driving. I'm not sure if you are experienced with roundabouts, but if you seach on youtube with that word you will get an idea how to use the various types that litter the roads and especially Salisbury.

The finest view of the Cathedral is from the south, over the water measdows, I think there is a pub and B&B on that little road that leads up to the close from the south (use google maps) you might find it fun to stay there ( I never have) but it used to be lovely little street. say the The Legacy Rose and Crown looks good, get up early and walk in.

we are using public transportation to get to Salisbury and the first two nights of our trip will be car free.

We are picking up the car on the third day and starting our driving adventure, that's leads to this next question: I am looking at taking the B3049 into Winchester and the B3045 out of Winchester are there any parking lots in the center city convenient to these two roads and the Cathedral?

Yes I am familiar with traffic circles, I remember when we used them here and still do

as far as the phone I had a devil of a time getting my new phone set up here, I do not want to waste time on holiday with a cell phone tech person
