Tuscany in the Spring?
I would love to spend a week in Tuscany but cannot go in the fall, when I hear it is at its best. April would be best for scheduling but wondered how the weather is and what there is to do/see then.
Thanks!

May and Oct. are my favorite months, but we have been to Tuscany twice in April and still love it. The later the better. The same villages are there in the spring, you just may get a bit more rain and the temps will be variable. Think NC in April.

There may be a few showers but the winter weather should have broken by then. I say go for it !!

May this year was VERY rainy. We had some terribly windy, cold and wet days.
However, we also had some beautiful ones.
We also had a great time.
Got to admit that it might have been worse if we hadn't previously visited the area.
Weather just can't be predicted. What can be predicted is that you should have a great trip no matter the weather. After all, it's Italy!
If you go in April, try for late in the month.
