Last September we went to Italy for almost three weeks and loved it. We are currently trying to plan another trip to Europe in October. My boyfriend's only request is that we go someplace we haven't been in addition to a week Tuscany. We have both been to Rome, Venice, England and Paris. We will definitely fly between places since it will take less time. I am stuck as to where to go for 7 days before Tuscany since it will be late fall. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

How about Sicily? We are combining Tuscany and Sicily in our next trip. We've been to Tuscany but Sicily is new for us. A couple of people on this board are currently considering trips to Tuscany and Provence. And it would be a little more complicated, but what about Tuscany and Andalucia?

Andalucia had occurred to me as well, but I'm afraid it might be too complicated and/or expensive (i.e., the airfare).
