Any coastal towns worth staying/visting near siena?

No.

Although it's techically not Tuscany, the Cinque Terre would be your best bet...

What about in Rome? Are there any coastal towns that would be easy to get to through Rome?

Look up Rome at www.viamichelin.com.

You could visit the ruins at Ostia Antica and visit the ocean.

Hi Leslie - Another vote for Castiglione della Pescaia.

From Rome I'd recommend Sperlonga - between Rome and Naples.
