I found that there are really historical places around Sultanahmet. I want to take a trip around there. Would you suggest ?

Everything East of the line Yenikapi - Pierre Loti and South of the line Pierre Loti - Dolmabahce is "historic and authentic"

You can also take a look around the "Old City". Wonderful buildings and many events take place there as well...

European side is better in my opinion. Fatih for example and around the Hagia Sophia Mosque, there are many historical/sightseeing places
