TTT or Topping?

I see this in many messages here. Can someone tell me what it means?

hi catherine,

this board is set to display the 50 messages with the most current posts or replies. the date used to determine that is not the original date of the 1st poster, but the most current reply date. so when someone posts a message with a ttt or topping they are moving that message back up into the most recent messages so they don't have to page to far to find it.

sometimes people do this if they want to refer to an older post that is buried or if no response has been given to their question and they want to make sure people see the post without having to repost the original message.

I don't ususally read past the 1st 50 or 100 posts on a daily basis and since this board is fast and furious (sometimes 100's of posts a day) you can see how easy it would for a post to get buried.

hope this helps!
If you "see this in many messages here", then it's working, for those messages.
