Will be in Italy 23 Nov - 7 Dec and a friend said it was Truffle season. Apparently there are Truffle Festivals during season...I can't find anything about them...does anyone have any info?

Here's my itinerary:
23Nov-25 Nov - Venice
25 Nov-29 Nov - Florence
29 Nov - 1 Dec - Pisa
1 Dec - 7 Dec - Rome

Any info on Truffle festivals would be fabulous!

Travel girl, you will be in the wrong part of Italy for white truffles, you should be in Piedmont, Le Marche or Umbria. In Piedmont there is a truffle festival somewhere every weekend. However I am sure that the better restaurants in the places you are going will have truffles on the menu.
