Yes, my daughter was able to avoid the Versailles line and go in the reservation line with me since I had prepurchased ticket. She just showed her passport to prove age.
As far as the question on whether I have our pictures posted anywhere - I uploaded them to Wolf Camera but not where you can get to them with a link -- is there another site that is easy to upload and share links with? I'd be happy to upload each city there.

Surely it's Montmartre, not Montmontre, or am I missing something?
Wikipedia...
The toponym Mons Martis ("Mount of Mars" survived into Merovingian times, Christianised as Montmartre signifying 'mountain of the martyr'; it owes this name to the martyrdom of Saint Denis,[ who was decapitated on the hill around 250 AD. Saint Denis was the Bishop of Paris and is the patron saint of France.
The hill's religious symbolism is thought to be even older, as it has been suggested as a likely druidic holy place because it is the highest point in the area. No archeological evidence supports the claim.

Great trip report and I learned a lot for our upcoming trip to Amsterdam and Paris. I'm looking at a HomeAway/Holiday Rental Connections apartment in Paris (7th arr, 101 Rue St Dominique), just trying to make up my mind since our plans have changed.
My question: Where did you book your train travel to get 1st class for half price? We will take the train from AMS to Paris and I've had difficulty figuring out which site to use. Haven't been there for 6 yrs so am a little out of practice!
Loved your AMS suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to post!

Exceptional trip report! Full of fun and useful information. Many times I'm dissapointed at how little people actually accomplish on their trips. You saw a lot in the time you were there. Good for you.
