Trip report - Munich, Salzburg & Vienna
We are an Indian couple living on the east coast of the united states. We are in our 50ish. We visited Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna in December. The main purpose of this vacation was to visit Christmas markets but in Munich, the Christmas markets were canceled just a week before they were supposed to open due to higher cases of covid. We still enjoyed our time there and had enough things to do and see. Salzburg and Vienna Christmas markets were full of holiday spirit and this was our first time visiting them.
Here is the detailed trip report with pictures.
Munich Day 1 - Schloss Nymphenburg
Munich Day 2 - Neuschwanstein castle
Munich Day 3 - Around the city
Salzburg - Walking tour & Christmas Market
Vienna Day 1 - Walking tour & Christmas markets
Vienna Day 2 - Schonbrunn Palace & Christmas markets

Maybe I should clarify my post a bit more. Fodors loves it when members post trip reports including photos, videos and so on. But IME they really frown on just posting links to blogs and vlogs. I'm not sure what you planned because the links didn't work, but it seems you were trying to send readers off this site and to you blog. That's a big no no. What you'll want to do is post the actual text describing your trip here in the thread (even if posts are mostly a copy/pastes of text from your blog).

I was curious so I checked the FAQ's to make sure I wasn't off base . . . and it is as I posted. From the FAQ's:
Fully detailed trip reports, and the discussions they create, are a valued part of Fodors; trip reports that are simply links to other websites are not. If you decide to make a trip report, please post it in its entirety as a new forum thread. If you wish to add a link to your report, in addition, that is ok.
