Trip Report: London, Amboise, Paris
We took a trip to London, Amboise and Paris in June. We wanted to post a link to our trip report and pictures(http://daniel-n-jessica.home.comcast.net) in appreciation for all we learned from everyone else.
Here's the highlights:
London-stayed at London Elizabeth Hotel; hop on/off bus tour; all major sights
Amboise-flew BMI to Paris, then SNCF train to Amboise; stayed Le Manoir Les Minimes(wonderful!!); rented bikes, rode to Chenonceau; bus tour from Blois; did not rent a car and had no problems getting around.
Paris-Apartment in the 7e (paris left bank rental); night bike tour (Fat Tire Bike Tours); all major sights; gardens of Versailles
We learned invaluable information from everyone. If you have specific questions, we'd be more than happy to assist others in their travel plans and return the favor

Thanks Mary_Fran, glad you enjoyed it.
I designed the front pages by hand (ie. didn't use any software for it). The Trip Report pages were also basically done by hand, though I took the image loading portion of those pages from code at http://www.dynamic-drive.com. The Photo Gallery pages were made with a software package called gThumb, which runs under Linux.
Feel free to steal the web pages and put in your own content. The Trip Report section should be easy to insert your own content. Just look for the line
<!-- Insert Text Here -->
as that's where the real content starts.

strass : Not much else to know about Fat Tire other than what's on their website. Their office is a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. People meet at the Eiffel Tower and then walk back over to the office to get bikes. Just show up and look for someone holding a Fat Tire Bike Tour sign. They do have computers at their office where you can surf the web and get any digital memory transferred to CD.

Jessica,
I really enjoyed your website and your trip report about London. I'm going to London for the 1st time in a month and a half and I'm still trying to put together my itenerary. Reading your report gave me a good idea as to what could be done in a day.
And by the way, I also really liked the layout of your website.
