I recently received an email from Fodors to say they were quoting the text below from my UK 2010 report in their England 2011 guidebook.
I know that many other posters have been selected for this singular honour . . . now I am privileged to join the club of published authors.
No doubt the quality of the prose below speaks for itself!
"Ludlow is a lovely town with many half-timbered buildings and a good range of shops. Our next stop was Stokesay Castle, not far from Ludlow. This building dated from around 1291, with a half-timbered gatehouse. We then drove to Shrewsbury, a pleasant and bustling town that has retained quite a few of its medieval buildings."
