Trier train station

My friend and I are traveling to Luxembourg from Koblenz on May 5th. Our plan is to stop in Trier in the morning and tour the town, then go on to Luxembourg in the afternoon.

We have been trying to figure out how to stash our bags for the day, and while we think there are lockers in the Trier train station, we cannot find an e-mail address or website to make a confirmation.

Does anyone out there know about the lockers at the Trier train station or have a clue about how to inquire at the train station before we leave the states?

In addition, we have contacted the Trier tourist info site, but the only info they gave us was for a phone number of the train station.

Thanks

I've been in hundreds of German stations and have never not seen lockers in a station the size of Trier - or even in much smaller ones for that matter. 99.99% chance of lockers - but they could always be full even though that is highly unlikely.

There are definitely lockers at the main station according to this site:

I've used the lockers at the Trier station - there were plenty available when I was there.

To Russ:

Were the lockers big enough, do you think? for two 21 inch suitcases?

Thanks to everyone for the quick responses!

Now you're putting me to the test! Can't be sure, but I'd say probably. My daughter and I each stuffed our two carry-on sized backpacks in one locker. Worst case scenario, you'd need 2 lockers.

Many German stations have 2 or more sizes of lockers - Trier being a big town may well have large ones. The typical locker i think you be hard pressed to fit two such things in - but hey two lockers is the solution.
