Trenitalia train timetable- how can you see all stops on particular line?

Travelling from Florence to Rignano Sull'Arno-

Looking on Trenitalia schedule I can see the number of the train and by clicking on "info" can see the names of stops before Ringann Sull'Arno, but wondered how I can see all of the stops till the end of this line.

At Florence station do I just identify the train by its number - or do I need to know the train's final destination?

Hope I make sense!

Deutsche Bahn's website (www.bahn.de) displays the whole route of the train with subsequent stops. I looked at one example from Firenze to Rignano sull Arno, and the final destination was Chiusi-Chanciano Terme.

At stations, I would usually look for the departure time and destination of the train. Even at a very big station, there are unlikely to be more than two or three trains leaving at the same time, and it's usually obvious which is my train.

If you click on the Viaggia Treno link on the home page, you can access regional maps that show many of the stops. (I still not sure it shows every single little one.)

On Trenitalia enter you cities and a date within the next few days (if you don't, all trains/prices won't show), select the train you want, click details by selection, not continue. The train you selected will appear below. Click info on the right side, scroll down (don't click next, just scroll) and there's the list of stops.

Double opps. I didn't see you wanted the entire train line.

If it doesn't show on Viaggia Treno, then enter Rignano Sull'Arno on Google maps and zoom in a bit. You will see the train lines and little trains indicating stations. Pick one or two stations past R S'A. On Trenitalia enter these as your destination and see if that's the same train as the one you plan to take. Or did you just want to know the end of the line?

>>>I looked at one example from Firenze to Rignano sull Arno, and the final destination was Chiusi-Chanciano Terme.<<<

I think that's accurate for some of the trains, but not for others as the train numbers Florence/Chiusi aren't matching all of the train numbers for Florence/Rignano.

Some intercity trains stop at Chiusi-Chanciano Terme, but don't stop at Rignano sull Arno, so there won't be identical departures to both destinations.
I checked one random Firenze-to-Rignano train on the Deutsche Bahn website to see where it went. If anyone needs to know the destination of any specific train, it is easy to do via www.bahn.de but it's not normally necessary to know the final destination of a train.

Thanks everyone- just thought there might be less chance of a mixup if I knew the name of the end of the line.

I guess as long as I have the schedule for the trip that has my stop, it should be okay!

In this case, the line doesn't have an end. In theory, a train from Firenze to Roma could go via Rignano sull Arno. In practice, only local trains will stop at Rignano, but they may have different destinations. If you have a specific train, you can look up the final destination of that train on the Deutsche Bahn website.

The train number will be used on station message boards.

Also in the train station are large Partenze (Departures) posters that show every train that departs your station during the day, listing all the stops as well as the final one. So if you know you train XXX to Rignano sull Arno departs at 11:00am, you can check the poster to verify the final stop.
