Trekking sticks necessary? helpful in Croatia?
Hi! Mid level physical group tour to Croatia....Is it smart to bring the trekking sticks? Will they be of use a lot? Trying to streamline luggage items but don't want to be foolish.
THANK YOU!

Do you use a trekking stick currently? I find I like to just use one on hikes with uneven terrain here at home but don't use it when walking around town. Europe has so many uneven steps, cobblestoned streets, etc. that I think it might be useful. I used my trekking stick when we visited Plitvice Lakes National Park.

It depends on what you’ll be doing, your fitness and balance. I found that it is not possible to carry them on board, they must be in checked luggage. I read when researching that this is an international rule, not airline specific, although of course it may depend on individuals at airports.
