travelling in Germany

I and my friends plan to go football championship 2006 (now we should to order tickets). We have two diferent variants- 1) to visit Berlin, Dresden, Potsdam, Hanover, Hamburg or 2) to visit Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Lake Constance, may be Strasbourg (France) and Zurich (Switzerland). Could you give me advice what else places it's interesting for visiting and what's best varia

Vital,

I would go with option 2. I loved Berlin, but Freiburg and Zurich should not be missed! As to Munich, I will let you know by November, after I return from my first trip there.

P.S. I am envious of you and your friends. I am a Brazilian and would love to be able to go to the 2006 Soccer World Cup games.

I vote for Plan Two, based on the inclusion of Munich and Lake Constance (via Lindau and the Island of Mainau)! Stuttgart is also a great city, and Freiburg and Strasbourg will make wonderful additions.
Have fun!
