At age 56 I think you may be doing yourself a grave disservice by describing yourself as "old" and I am not sure it will necessarily attract the kind of companions you'd like, either. Have a great trip.

Thanks Suze, that was helpful. Seems hard to find women my age who travel alone but they must be out there somewhere.

I'm right up there (almost) age wise with you, but if look for someone who doesnt travel alone and wants your company. I think those of us who love to travel alone do just that, look for someone who doesn't.

I don't consider myself old, I am alot younger in my traveling habits than alot of women half my age, as I have found out the hard way.
