All I am asking for is my own 747 so I don't have to worry about airline tickets.

If Santa comes through you can all fly with me!

Oh Please Santa, don't disappoint this little Jewish girl.

Wonderful reminiscing about the posts on these old threads. Many messages from old friends like Scarlett and Anselm, of whom far too little has been seen or heard these last months.

I got my wish last year: "clean" catscan for my darling and 12 months full of accomplishment (and the stress that goes with it), wonderful travel to NYC/ Washington at Christmas; most major cities in Canada throughout the year (Toronto last week, Halifax this week, Quebec City next week, perhaps Vancouver the week after); Prague; Rome and Tuscany; Uzes, Toulouse and Nice; Warsaw, Belgrade.

AND the big surprise: the impromptu decision to build a new country place just for the 2 of us on our tranquil lake near Ottawa....

What wish could I have but a bit more of the same (without the work stress)? . And the chance to share some of it with others who have less or carry a heavier burden through life.

#1 Good health, first and foremost.

#2 A Sugar Daddy so I can travel as often as I like and not have to work anymore.

3# My own apartment in Paris so I would really feel as though it was my 2nd home and to beable to hand my friends the keys to it and say have a nice vacation.

My own personal Santa gave me a two week trip to Paris and Rome. I think he is going to get very, very lucky tonight.

I want what Northshore's husband is getting for Christmas! PLUS, a new daypack, a map of Rome, and some good walking shoes.

Great to hear that you Swiss Army Knives are still cherished (except at customs). I just had the opportunity to do a tour of Victorinox, the Swiss Knife manufacturer. These tours are not open to the public because you walk by huge machines cutting and polishing blades.

Anyway, they are now working on a Swiss Army Knife with an MP3 incorporated. I don't know when the release date will be.

Their watch selection is growing too. I bought an elegant black band, white face watch for women.

If you are ever in Schwyz/Ibach area, they have a nice shop at their factory that sells their whole knife and watch selection. I believe they offer 10% off for tourists but I'll have to check on that.

Santa Baby - All I want.... is to be on Ballroom BootCamp! Oh and a Ch Ch Ch Chia Gourmet Herb Garden! I've killed two rosemary trees and 2 basil plants in the last few months. I hear the Chia pets are indestructible.

REX - Thanks for the book recommendations! Merry Christmas to me! I will order both as they sound fabulous! I would have loved to have some posters but it wasn't meant to be.
