Travel to England--Restrictions--US on Amber list
Does anyone have any information as to whether/when the UK will ease travel restrictions (when traveling to the UK from the US)? Hoping to travel to London in late September.

At the moment it’s a guessing game. The UK traffic light system will be reviewed every three weeks, but the review announced yesterday moved Portugal from green to amber, and seven countries were moved from amber to red. No countries were moved from amber to green. That dashed the hopes of many British holidaymakers who expected the rules to be relaxed in time for summer vacations.
I believe the US is still banning nonessential travel from the UK and EU countries. Perhaps when Biden visits the UK next week travel with the US will be discussed.
