Travel to Algarve
Hi,
We are 55+ couple planning to spend a week scouting Portugal (mostly Algarve) for a week in September.
Want to check Lagos, Portimao/Ferragudo, Quarteira/Vilamoura, Faro, Olhao, Tavira (and Cabanos), VRSA.
So suppose we spend a few days in Lisbon to get a picture, so from there should we take a train to Faro, book a hotel there
and then travel daily by bus or train west and east (from Lagos to VRSA) ?
Or better take a bus from Lisbon to say Lagos, and then travel gradually east.
At the end we are planning to go to Spain (Seville and Barcelona), so is it a bus trip from Faro or something better from Tavira or VRSA?
Please advise.
