I will be in Switzerland for 8 nights and I'm having trouble deciding on the right travel pass. I will be in Zurich 2 nights, Lucerne 3 nights, and Lauterbrunnen 2 nights, with one final night in Zurich before flying out. Does it make more sense to buy the Central Switzerland Tell Pass and pay for the other trains and cable cars if we need them, or is the full travel card better? It looks like funiculars and cable cars aren't deeply discounted with the travel pass, and Lauterbrunnen would probably only require one or two of those, but Lucerne several. We will be a family of 6 adults.
