One last question. If I arrive Friday late afternoon and need to leave Granada Tuesday evening, would I be best to spend 3 nights in Malaga leaving early monday ( maybe by bus to Granada) and one night in Granada or divide it 2 nights Malaga and 2 nights Granada.....

I would have done two nights each, and drive through Nerja for lunch and the cave before the Suspiro del Moro road to Granada. Sunday lunch in Ayo's in Nerja is a highlight of the week for many nerjeños, very busy and good vibe. On Sundays they also serve grilled pork, and on a Sunday they often serve more than 2000 plates of paella here.

I think we need a international drivers license. I need to figure out the rental car. Perhaps only one day rental with drop off as I think it may be difficult to park the car in Granada and Malaga.....
I will look at hotels and car rentals this weekend.
