Transportation between Rome and Florence

My friends and I are planning to go to Italy in May. What would be the best mode of transportation from Florence to Rome?

To simply get from one to the other and not particularly interested in stopping along the way?

The train takes about 1 1/2 hours between the two cities.

Yes, the EuroStar. It's the easiest and best way to make the trip.
