Transport from Heathrow to Mill Baileys
Staying at the Millennium Baileys in September. Is our best bet to take the Heathrow express and tranfer to Gloucester Station? How much time will this take and how much will it cost?

I never took a taxi (as I have already started a mortgage when buying my apartment).
There is a coach service by National Express.

Check online timetable from your terminal in Heathrow to London, Gloucester Road, Kensington.
The web site for Heathrow Express is

Once again I'll recommend Ray Skinner's transfer service. www.london-transfers.com
His prices are flat fees (35 pounds)per car, not per person, plus tip. They meet you (holding a sign with your name) as you exit immigration and take you door to door. Much more civilized way to start a vacation I think then hauling luggage on and off the tube (assuming you have more then one piece of luggage). It depends on traffic how long it takes to get in and out by car so that is hard to estimate.
By the time you take the Heathrow Express and then a cab to your hotel you have paid as much as a driver service, and you are still schlepping luggage around.
If you have only one small bag then you can tube it OK, but it all depends on you (and how far you've traveled, we fly from the west coast and jetlag is a real factor).

We will be going from Heathrow to Millennium Bailey's in three weeks and it will be the Tube for us. This trip is about as simple as it gets. One small quirk is that the lift at Gloucester Road Station does not quite go to track level so there are some stairs.
