Transfer from Ciampino to Civitavecchia
Hi, I am travelling in a group of 4 adults and wonder what is the best way to get from the airport to the docks. Will arrive at the airport on a Friday at 11-00am and need to be at the docks by 5-00pm. Cost is a factor

Hi David,
The cheapest way will be by train.
If you go to
www.trenitalia.com
you will find the schedule from Roma Aeroporto to Civitavecchia.

We don't want to schlep baggage and then have to taxi from the Civitavecchia train station to the ship, so we're going to use a car service. I got several quotes ranging from €100-150 (for a Benz that holds driver plus 3; I think it's a little more for a larger car for 4+.) If it runs you €150, that's still pretty reasonable per person. The limo people say from CIA to the dock it takes around an hour and a half.
We're (2) on the Insigina on Fri 23 April, also arriving at CIA at 11 AM - are we on the same flight? (EasyJet from STN?) If so, maybe we can find something for 6.
