TRAINS- transit through EU countries regs?

We are travelling by train from London to Vienna next week. The only stop is to change trains in Brussels. We will transit through FRANCE and GERMANY (but not stop in either).
Do we need to comply with Visa Regs for France & Germany given we are unlikely to set foot on their soil?
Many thanks, Virginia Slim

What is your nationality? Once you are in the Schengen zone, you can go anywhere else in the Schengen zone.

According to seat61.com there is a French passport check when you board the Eurostar at St. Pancras. But if you are good for Austria you should be good for France, as kerouac points out.

There won't be a visa issue but you may have to meet covid requirements and you will have your ID (passport) checked in Brussels. These two pages will be helpful for you: the first is Eurostar's explanation of what to expect when changing trains in Brussels, and the second is Belgium's official covid (coronavirus) information page.

You go through French immigration before you board the train at St. Pancras.

C'est tout.
