Hello,
I'm posting this message again because it didn't appear on the forum the first time.
Thank you ira and Katiebug for your quick responses. I really appreciated them.
With the large increase in ticket prices if we purchased them on the day of departure, and the less hassle way of purchasing them online, I believe that we will purchase our tickets in advance....so one more question....
If our plane arrives at 6:30am at Heathrow and we take the Heathrow Express to Paddinton Station, then connect to the Bakerloo Line to travel to Waterloo, should we purchase tickets for the 10:30am or 12:30am train? We would prefer the 10:30am departure, but will we make it?
Thank you.

I've never done that route, but I'd be hesitant. I'm sure that schedule is possible a lot of times, but consider these scenarios:
Plane is late.
Plane is held up on runway.
Customs line is slow.
Bakerloo line breaks down (vaguely seem to remember this happening).
It never seems to fail for me that any planned transport in London takes about twice as long as planned.
If your Eurostar tickets are nonrefundable and not usable on any other train, and then you have to buy full-fare tickets, would you want to take the risk? Then again, you might get the 12:30 PM tickets and be at Waterloo by 9 AM if everything goes like clockwork.

Sorry,
the times for the trains are 10:30am and 12:30pm (not 12:30am).
Thanks WillTravel for your response and assuming that I was talking about 12:30pm.
Has anyone had any experiences travelling from Heathrow to Waterloo Station? (timeline?)
