Train tickets form the Charles De Gaulle Airport to Eiffel Tower
Hello Everybody,
I have some questions about the mentioned tickets and want some advices.
1. Can I buy the same-day return tickets from the Airport to the Eiffel Tower ? How much ?
2. I know that I need to change from the RER train and then metro to the Eiffel. Is it required to buy separated ticktet or just use one ticket ?
Please give me some suggestions and I am afraid I will spend a lot of time on how to find a right ticket on the station.
Thanks in advance.
Gavin

RER B from Terminal 2 to Chatelet-Les Halles 8.2 E. One Metro ticket from C-LH Line 1 to Franklin D. Roosevelt (direction La Defense) transfer to Line 9 (direction Pont-de Sevres) get off at the Trocadero station.
Return the exact opposite way. Total cost: R/T RER B 16.4 E CDG to Chatelet-Les halles, two Metro tickets 3.4 E. So for 20 Euro, you can go from the Airport CDG to Eiffel Tower, and Back. You can buy them all at the airport station. Just get R/T RER ticket (two tickets) and two T + tickets at the station.
Other posters may know Chatelet-Les Halles better, but you may be able to use your RER ticket to transfer to the metro. If that is the case, then you'll only need the RER tickets.

CDG RER ticket from airport to Central Paris is 8,70 one way.
You could take RER Line B to St Michel, then transfer to Line C and exit at Champs de Mars / Eiffel Tower.
You can also trasnfer from RER to Metro on the same ticket.
Ideally, I would take the RER line into the city, and take the metro to Trocadero stop, on the Right Bank. Pass between the two buildings of the Palais Chaillot and get the best view of the tower. Then cross bridge to go up the tower.

If the only rides you will take are CDG-Eiffel Tower and Eiffel Tower-CDG, then your cheapest option is a single 8.70 EUR ticket each way. If you think you might have time for another ride or two in Paris, then buy a one day, zone 1-5 Paris Visite Pass (18.90 EUR) at CDG. It will give you unlimited rides.

Thanks TimS.
I only have about 5 hours free in CDG. So I think I will go the Eiffel only.
I will arrive on 6:00am and will transit to Geneve on 13:00.
I think I will have enough time.
Thanks the above ideas.
