I am looking for the most economical way to travel via rail throughout several cities in Italy in September. I need to avoid any lines if at all possible. How do you propose I purchase my tix to four or five cities in Italy?

In response to your posting, I am confused. I am not sure what I need to purchase, I will be traveling throughout Italy for about ten - eleven days trying to see four or five cities on particular days. What do you propose if the best way to purchase tickets as I don't really have a lot of flexibility with this trip except at the end of trip?
