Train Station in Modena

I will be traveling from Florence to Venice via train and stopping in Modena along the way for a few hours. Does anyone know if the train station in Modena has facilities for luggage storage?

It does not, according to the Trenitalia Web site (which is not necessarily infallible).

It's a bit of a walk from the train station to the historical center.

Thank you Eloise - you must be more proficient than I in finding that information on Trenitalia...I searched there first to no avail.

I guess we will have to lug the luggage in the cab to our stopover since we are stopping for a tour of the Ferrari factory in Maranello, outside of Modena.

You're very welcome.

For future reference:

At www.trenitalia.com, click on "Treni e stazioni"; it brings up a map of Italy and the names of the regions of Italy; click on the region you want (e.g., Emilia-Romagna). Then a list appears that includes "Servizi in stazione"; click on that. You then get either a list of all the towns in the region, or the alphabet. If it's the alphabet, click on "M" for Modena; scroll down; "Deposito bagagli" is, I think, the third column from the end. If there's a blue dot, the service is there; if there is no blue dot, it isn't.

I think the train website is down. Does any one know if there is luggage storage in Parma? We will be taking the train from Bologna to Milan. Also any storage in Milan? Thank you

The website isn't down, but there is no luggage storage in Parma (or Modena). Only large stations have left luggage facilities unless there is a very big tourist attraction nearby (such as Pisa Centrale/leaning tower).
