Train Schedule Copenhagen-Hamburg

Trying to find the train schedule for May for round trip from Copenhagen to Hamburg and back. Also, experiences 1st vs. 2nd class.

www.Raileurope.com should have those schedules or a Eurail Pass schedule has all the major cities (like Cop-Ham)

2nd cl is OK...lst can be boring!

You could also check the Deutschebahn site. My memory of this trp is that it is surprisingly long and involves the train being put on a ferry!
There is German rail system web site in English. It tells me that the Hamburg Copenhagen run is 4 hours and 30 minutes. There are two trains in the morning, 7:30 and 9:30.
You will float for part of the trip.
But I don't think you have to ever leave your coach seat.
I have done that route many times. (Actually all the way from Oslo to Hamburg!) Don't worry, the serious ferry portion of the trek is from Copenhagen to Sweden.

The train from Kopenhagen to Hamburg is on the ICE trains - very nice new trains, all the ones I was on anyway. I always did second class and it was really quite nice. Both train stations are nice as well as safe, though of course kopenhagen is more so. In Hamburg, the metro runs from the train station to all parts of town, very easy. In Kopenhagen, the train station is right in the hub of everything. I thing that you might want to stop one hour short of Hamburg in the town of Lubeck on the the way there or back as it is a lovely old town as any guide book can tell you.
