Has anyone taken the Train from San Sebastián Spain to Bordeaux France? Or any other options?

From San Sebastian you can take the regional train that ends in Hendaye, cross the open area and from there take the train to Bordeaux.

We drove it last year. Took less than 3 hours each way.

1. San Sebastian Amara station to Hendaye by Euskotren metro, every 30 minutes, journey 37 minutes, fare €2.75, buy at the station, www.euskotren.es
In Hendaye, the Euskotren station is in the forecourt of the SNCF mainline station.
2. Hendaye to Bordeaux St Jean by TER or TGV train, www.SNCF-connect.com.

You just change trains at the border. No big deal. (It's Spain's fault for not using the same track gauge as the rest of Europe.)
