I just checked the SNCF site (with the arbitrary date of February 20, one adult in second class) and came up with a price of 23.80€.

You either depart from the Gare de Lyon and go through Laroche-Migennes) or you can depart from the Gare Bercy and go through Auxerre. The first route takes about 2.5 hours. The route through Auxerre, which also costs 23.80€, takes about 3.5 hours.

You cannot get there from CDG without going into Paris to either one of those train stations.

Hi dosu,

Go to http://www.ratp.fr/index_eng.htm and click on route finder. Enter the address of your hotel and the Gare Lyon or Gare Bercy.

They will tell you how to get there.

Obviously there is only one. but there are 6 diffent options to choose. each appears to identify the route.. such as "12EME", "metro" "RER",
"Banlieue" etc... I was just asking which option to choose.

I would suggest you take a taxi to the train station, whichever you choose. I personally wouldn't want to spend all night on a flight, then an hour or so on public transportation to get into the city, then three hours on a train.

One of the Air France shuttles goes to the Gare de Lyon. It costs 11.50 € and takes about an hour - that's another option.

Hi dosu,

You want to go from RER AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 2 TGV to RER GARE DE LYON

Here are the directions

TAKE THE RER B AT AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 2 TGV AT 10H10 DIRECTION MASSY-PALAISEAU UNTIL CHATELET-LES HALLES AT 10H44
TAKE THE RER A AT CHATELET-LES HALLES AT 10H49 DIRECTION MARNE-LA-VALLEE CHESSY UNTIL GARE DE LYON AT 10H52
IT WILL TAKE YOU ABOUT 50 MIN

To get to Bercy

TAKE THE RER B AT AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE 2 TGV AT 10H10 DIRECTION MASSY-PALAISEAU UNTIL CHATELET-LES HALLES AT 10H44
TAKE THE METRO LINE 14 AT CHATELET DIRECTION BIBLIOTHEQUE-FRANCOIS MITTERRAND UNTIL BERCY
IT WILL TAKE YOU ABOUT 55 MIN
