Train Nancy to CDG
Does the new high speed train from Nancy to Paris take one to CDG or would you have to take local transport after arrival. I am wondering about dropping off rental car in Nancy and taking public transport to CDG. There are four of us to pay transport for so perhaps better to drive to CDG. Via michelin is a bit confusing as it suggests 5.5 hours to drive from vimy to riquewihr but 8 hours to drive back to paris yet they seem about the same distance apart. If it's really an 8 hour drive and the train is 1.5 hours from Nancy that's like getting an extra day of vacation. A

Via Michelin says 5h28 from Riquewihr to Roissy (CDG), for 488km.
The SNCF isn't showing any direct trains from Nancy to CDG. However, there are trains from Strasbourg to CDG, and the site proposed fares as low as 22€ for a random date, or 40€ in 1st class. Full fare in 2nd class is about 70€.

Hi
You can take the the new high speed train from between Nancy and Metz. It will take 1 hour app. before you arrive to Paris.
If you drive by car it will take app. 3 - 3½ hours.
Since you are in Lorraine you should stay at the castle Hattonchatel Chateau, owned by www.Ritz-Resorts.com
It is magnificent.

There is no high speed train between Nancy and Metz. It is the Métrolor, the regional commuter train (TER) that connects those two cities on the Epinal-Luxembourg line. It only goes 140 km/h.
