Train Help! Nice to Genova
I can't figure out which train to use to get from Nice France) to Genova (Italy).
The websites are confusing, especially because it appears that there are several different cities or stations called Nice and Genova.
I want to take the first train out but I just can't figure out how to get this info!!!
Can someone PLEASE tell me which train to take?
I appeciate your help!

Hi- I just checked the sncf.com website. There is one station in Nice (at least on the menu) but there are about 10 stations in Genova. You first need to decide which stop in Genova is the one you want before you can purchase the ticket. Once you decide that, you can plug in the date in question, your age (under 26 yrs is a youth ticket), one way, etc. I am not sure if there's an English link though, since I speak French...

I actually want to go from Nice to Cinque Terre. The transfer point is GENOA PIAZZA PRINCIPE (IT) where I transfer to an Italian Train.
Can you help by providing the exact name for Nice. Below are the ones I have to pick from.
Nice 06
Nice CFP Voyageurs 06
Nice Requier
Nice St Augusin
Nice St Roch
Nice Station

Here's a simple answer....
Go to www.trenitalia.com Click on English at the top right. Click on International. Type in Nice and Genoa in their respective spots.
The trip is about 3 hours or so.
I'd stay away from the sncf web site it might be the least user friendly web site for travel that I've ever come by, even worse than Amtrak.

Nice Ville is the main train station in Nice. If you plug in Nice to Genova Piazza Principe, that should work. The rate I find is 15EUR. Seems to be about 4-5 trains a day, 3 hour ride.
This is on the http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ website.
