You need to change trains in Milano and Ventimiglia. Schedules are on www.bahn.de. Total journey time is about eight and a quarter hours. The best train is the one that goes at the time you want to travel.

www.trenitalia.com won't book Venice-Nice, but it WILL book Venice (Santa Lucia) to Ventimiglia on the border, with cheap 'Mini' fares if you pre-book, and the necessary seat reservations included.
You can buy a Ventimiglia-Nice ticket for a few euros and hop on the next frequent local train to Nice when you get to ventimiglia.

Have done this personally several times
most recently last year sort of a long expensive slog.
Better to catch a flight deal VCE NCE www.flybaboo.com
Cheapest to hop regional trains
for 5 euros per leg or so to La Spezia Ventimiglia
then french train through Monaco to Nice Ville.
Fast trains go through Milan Genoa and are Expensive
seat61.com.
Flying best if short on time.

Yeah, but if you fly, you don't see anything or meet anybody but other people who are likely to be on business trips. I spent YEARS doing that in the US.
There seems to be an idea on this forum that going to Europe means only seeing that which is An Officially Approved Guidebook Site. It's the 18th Century Grand Tour without the spas and watering holes. qwovadis, I don't actually think you are an offender here, but your advice provided the occasion for this rant
.
We are all very sniffy about taking guided tours here, but there doesn't seem to me to be much if any difference between leaving the Grand Hotel di Venezia, going to VCE, taking the plane to Nice, then going to the Grand Hotel de Plage and taking a package tour, except that you have to deal with your own luggage.
It seems to me to be tourism, not travel. End of rant.

Man_in_seat_61, thanks for your advise on traveling from Venice to Ventimiglia. I be traveling on the 9th of June...and the stated price for 2nd class is about Euro60. Is the price consider cheap?
I be arriving at Italy on Jun 01. It is best to purchase the above ticket on that day, or buy it now thru trenitalia?

3/6 ...Rome to Florence
5/6 ...Florence to Pisa
Pisa to Monterosso
7/6 Monterosso to Milan
Milan to Venice...
Is everything fine with my route? And can I purchase tickets point to point when arriving at destined city?
Thanks in advance...
