Train from Glasgow Airport to Edinburgh?

you'd have to get the bus or taxi from outside the terminal to the nearest station which is Paisley Gilmour street and then change at Glasgow Central for a train to Edinburgh. There are no direct trains to Edinburgh.
Personally i think it would be easier to get the bus direct to Glasgow Central and catch the train there.
The train takes around 1hour 30mins

From memory, I think there are more trains to Edinburgh from Glasgow Queen Street Station than from Central Station.
You should be able to catch a bus outside the airport to take you to Glasgow, possibly even to Queen St. Station.
The train journey from Queen St. Station takes about 50 minutes.
Hope this helps.

Yes - no trains from the airport but buses (number 905) into Glasgow. A few trains to Edinburgh from Glasgow Central station but more & faster trains from Glasgow Queen Street station (every 15 mins durin g the day, takes 50 mins). Either get off at the stop for Queen St & get a train or at Buchanan St bus station & get a bus.
