Train fee from CDG airport to Paris Gare Lyon

Hello Everybody,

I will go to Paris in the coming August.

Can you tell me the Train fee from CDG airport to Paris?

Also, Is it easy to operate If I buy the train tickets from the self-service machines ? I only know English and little French.

Can I pay coin to the machine or using the Credit card ?

Thanks for your reply.

Gavin

I think if you will click on the above link, you will get all of your questions answered on taking a train from CDG; think you will need to change trains in Paris to end at Gare du Lyon;

it is 8.50 Euros and there is step by step instructions and photos on getting to the train platform and buying tix

The RER into Paris is 9.10€, the Roissybus is 10€.

You can pay with your credit card unless you are from the USA as credit cards issued by US banks are not accepted in tickets kiosks. There is a service window for ticket purchases.

And the Air France shuttle directly to the Gare de Lyon is about 12 euro.

The Air France bus from Roissy (CDG) to Gare de Lyon is 16.50€. For children ages 2-11 the fare is 8€. Tickets may be purchased from the driver.

thanks for the updated price on the RER, I remember someone posting that is would be going up; although the website I posted above still lists 8.50 Euros, but it reviews everything you need to know including how/where to pay with coins or CC

Look it up at the authority: www.ratp.fr. These questions appear all the time and you need to be able to do your own research, especially if you have computer access in Paris where it will be a godsend. Also take a look at www.parisbytrain.com
