Hi Sarah-
Assuming "train distance" you mean "how much time does the train take", it is 1hr 36mins by Eurostar. Longer for slower trains.
For train schedule:

thanks everyone I thought it was a 40 minute train ride. Thinking about my next trip back. My friend wants to stay in Rome....but I prefer Florence or even some place smaller. Thought we could do a short stay if any in Rome.

Barely a relevant piece of info, since what you really wanted was duration of the trip, but from www.raileurope.com, the _distance_ is listed as 316 km/197 mi.
Part of the compelling reason that it almost never makes sense to try to drive between the two, since the train takes 95 minutes.
Best wishes,
Rex
