tourist offices - e-mail addresses

I am looking for tourist info. offices for Austria, CZ Republic, and Germany. I thought this would be easy, but have not found good sites on searches. I would appreciate e-mail addresses for these countries I will be visiting to ask for info. Thanks.

To answer your specific questions for those two countries, the tourist office web addresses are:
Germany: www.germany-tourism.de
Czech Rep: www.czechcenter.com/travel.htm
I have all the web site addresses for every European country if you need others.

Linda, for the 3 countries you mentioned, call Information in NYC --- 212-555-1212, and ask for the telephone numbers for the Departments of Tourism for each country. Both Austria and Germany will send you travel information for free. The Czech Department of Tourism charges $3 for postage. All have excellent brochures and maps.

Linda,
Of far more value that the national tourist office websites are those for regions, cities towns and villages. A sampling follows.

In many instances involving German cities, towns and villages, simply typing the name of the village followed by .de will take you to the local tourist office website, as will www.oberammergau.de for example

Similarly, involving Austrian cities, towns and villages, typing tiscover.at/town name will take you to the locality’s website where there’s invariably a link to tourist information, usually identified by the word “tourismus”. Try www.tiscover.at/reutte for example.

Explore the following:

www.allgaeu-schwaben.com/aenglish.html Bavarian Allgau and Swabian regions

www.austria-tourism.at
Austrian National Tourist Office

www.bavaria.com Bavarian Alpine Net Guide

www.entry.de/index.php3?bula=3&lang=0 Clickable map of Germany with extensive links

www.europelinks.ndo.co.uk/tourist.html Links to various European national and regional tourist offices

www.badenpage.de/gengenbach
typical village tourist information for town of Gengenbach in Black Forest

www.czech-tourism.com/index.html
Czech tourist office website

www.home.nikocity.de/wieskirche/egasth.htm typical village tourist info re accommodations in Steingaden Germany

www.steingaden.de/gasthof_lindenhof.htm typical website for typical Bavarian inn

http://www.fortunecity.com/oasis/mon...chsuburbs.html
site listing links to Bavarian and Munich hotels and inns

www.pfaffenwinkel.net Regional website for Pfaffenwinkel area of Upper Bavaria

www.rauris.net website for Tirolean village with link to tourist info

http://www.reisen-mit-preisen.de/rmp...sh/framee.html website for German inns and gasthausen
