Hi Hal<BR>If I was you I would do both if you can afford to - having a local guide show you around, even for half a day, can give you an insight into an area that you would never get alone. Then going off by yourself will be more fulfilling as well.<BR>Maybe you might also consider a day in Umbria? We have some beautiful places here too!<BR>
