Torla - Ordessa

Two of us are planning to spend about 5 days in the Ordessa National Park, we want to base ourselves somewhere in reasonable, clean, budget accommodation and do day walks. We understand Torla is a good place. Does anyone have suggestions as to a good place to stay - we are hoping to go from August 2 to 6.
Thanks

Torla and the National park is something quite out of the ordinary! I think I stayed at this hotel last time in Torla, some fifteen years ago. http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/villa-russell.en.html

More affordable options in the center of small Torla:

Hi,
In the charming village of Torla they have organised the bus transports to the Ordesa park very conveniently and the Valley of Ordesa offers perhaps the most interesting day walks in the Pyrenees. The Faja routes are my favourites anyway:

Also I recommend you the drive between Escalona and Sarvise starting from Escalona (Escalona-Cañon de Añisclo-Fanlo-Sarvise-Torla).
Recommended walking routes outside Ordesa Valley but close by: Cañón de Añisclo, Revilla - Puente de los Mallos - Escuaín - Río Yaga - Revilla, Parador de Monte Perdido - Llanos de Larri - Pista de la Larri - Parador de Monte Perdido.
Also I would vist the Valley of Chistau and perhaps walk one of the Ibones (mountain lakes)routes. And it is easy to visit France through the tunnel of Bielsa (Túnel de Bielsa).

Thanks everyone, in Ordessa we walked the Pradera-Faja Pelay-Cola de Coballo circuit. Beautiful. Next day we went out of the park up the Valle de Bujaruelo and walked to the pass of the same name, to the French border, where we discovered a car park on the other size and heaps of French walking to a mountain refuge for lunch! But the scenery was great.
Day three was Valle de Pineta and thunder storms limited us to a pleasant three hour return stroll to Llanos de Larri instead of a planned higher/longer trek.
Two days in the Benasque region were also great, near Cerla and Aneto peak, the 2nd highest in the Pyrenees.
After that we did an 8 day package with a local company around the Valle d'Aran. Mix of villages and national parks -great but beware the electrical storms mid to late afternoon!
