Anytime someone posts to a thread it moves it to the top. Some time someone enters an empty post just to bring an interesting or oleer post to the top. They tend to sink pretty fast here.

topping refers to adding an insignificant message to a post, no matter how small - - with the point being that it brings it back "up to the top" (thus being easier to find) - - in the left hand column.

Or just puts a message "thread" back into circulation.

Especially useful if a thread is hundreds and hundreds of messages deep and never got a reply.

Even this wordy answer "tops" this question of yours.

Best wishes,

Rex

Topping this answer, or any answer, will help for about 90 minutes.
