This page allows you to search for average monthly temps, precipitation, etc. for just about any location. Madrid in July averages a high of 90 and a low of 61, for example.
I was in Spain in May last year and it was already hot enough for me. But I dislike anything over about 82....

The websites www.worldclimate.com and www.weatherbase.com are both good also - - especially the latter for its listing of average number of days per month "above 65" (or some similar arbitrary figure) or "below 32".
