too hot?

Is July a bad time to be in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid) in terms of crowds and hot weather?

http://www.weather.com/activities/tr...cationplanner/

This page allows you to search for average monthly temps, precipitation, etc. for just about any location. Madrid in July averages a high of 90 and a low of 61, for example.

I was in Spain in May last year and it was already hot enough for me. But I dislike anything over about 82....

Hi

The 2nd 2 weeks of July both for temps and crowds (school holidays).

Best weather history site I've found is here : http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...historical.htm

Thanks Lesli and mpprh for these wonderful web sites! They are so helpful.

The websites www.worldclimate.com and www.weatherbase.com are both good also - - especially the latter for its listing of average number of days per month "above 65" (or some similar arbitrary figure) or "below 32".

Best wishes,

Rex
