Toledo Map

Does anyone know a good site for obtaining a detailed map of Toledo? We are booked in a hotel (can't contact them directly) and we don't know how we will locate it. In the Los Cigarrales area. Any suggestions?
thanks

Los Cigarrales is a very nice section of Toledo (a "cigarral" designates a country house/farm close to the riverbank; Rio Tajo). I believe Los Cigarrales area is close to the train station. What's the name of the hotel?

The hotel is the Abaceria. We will be driving from Madrid on our way south.
Thanks!

Bronsona-- the hotel is a good 20 minutes walk to Toledo center (about 2 km from the main monuments area). Bare in mind, Toledo can be quite hilly and the streets were specifically laid out to be a bit like a maze (Arab urban cooling technique), specially around the Alcazar area.

As far as directions, from Madrid, get on N-401 straight shoot to Toledo. I am a bit puzzled by the statement you can't contact them directly; just in case their phone number is (34) 92-525-0000, fax (34)92-525-1868, e-mail: [email protected]

I think it would be wise to send an e-mail, confirm your reservations via e-mail, ask for parking arrangements, and directions from Madrid. Hope this helps.

Bronson-- I found a map for you, hope it helps. Basically as you approach Toledo on N-401, bare to your left ( heading southwest) on "Carretera de Circunvalacion". This is the road that circles Toledo (ouside the historic walls/city center), along the Rio Tajo. Pass the Bullring, you will be looking for "Puente de San Martin" (bridge of St. Martin), continue on south, your hotel is about 1.5 km from the bridge. If you see signs for the Parador, follow them as Pontezuelas Street is in that area.

Chatters.
Thanks for your info - we booked through an internet agency and I could not find any direct information, even trying to type Abaceria in the search engines. Will contact them by e-mail now. Again thanks!
