You may also take an old snap shot of yourself and cut out the face portion of yourself to paste on the metro pass. The picture should be a little larger than a postage stamp. You could also take of yourself with your digital camera and make the print.

We will be staying near the St. Paul metro and assume we can get a Navigo there. We ended up with passport sized photos (from the last pasport maybe ??) so assuming my French will get us by, we should be OK. And will remember to write number on ticket (merci!)

Passport photos are too big, I think...Lay one over a credit card, for example, see what I mean? Shouldn't be more than 1x1 inch...

I think a driver's license photo would be the best size ... the problem we had was that we never saw a convenient place to have any copies made. Next time I am going to be sure to make a few extra copies of my DL (I already do this with passports, but those photos are too big for this purpose).

you can use any old photo you have, if the head is small enough when you cut it out; or take a new one with your digital camera... you can print on regular paper and cut it down...
