Time sensitive booking a hostel, is Gomio.com a reputable company?

I'm trying to book a hostel in Downtown Lodge, Grindelwald. I can't find a way to book directly and I wonder if Gomio.com is a reputable company. The terms seem complex-speaking of a down payment, but not specifying the amount. Another booking agent is hostels.com. We're having trouble finding lodging for large family, so I want to hurry to book this. Thanks for you help!

Yes, Gomio.com is reputable.

Also look at hostelbookers.com and hostelworld.com .

And don't neglect the idea of phoning the hostel directly, as that may be the best method if you want to ensure your family gets a room all together.

you should check out swissbackpackers.ch
They show that there is a "family special" for Downtown lodge where you pay for 4 nights and get the fifth free. Also, with a swiss pass, all the hostels on the site are pay for 2 nights, get the third for 50%. It's not a booking site, but it will show you how to book the different hostels, including email addresses to contact hostels directly. i've found for the swiss hostels it's easiest to just e-mail the hostel and make a reservation over email. good luck!

Yes, gomio is very well known in europe, much like HostelsClub.com which is also based in europe but has hostels all over the world.
