Time Allowed Train to Flight - Frankfurt

Taking the train into Frankfurt to catch a flight to Paris. How much time should I allow between arrival and departure? Thanks.

This is the US section. Are you asking about Frankfurt, KY? And what train service? If it is an international flight directly to Paris you should allow about three hours. If it is a connecting flight to another US airport and on to Paris than an hour and half or so is adequate since it is a domestic flight.

Where are you taking the train from and when?

As you need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure of your flight and considering that DB(German Railways) is notorious for delayed or cancelled trains I'd allow at least 4 hours between the train arrival and the flight departure if you're coming from another city. If you're coming from Frankfurt or another nearby city like Mainz, Wiesbaden, etc 3 hours should be fine.

Next time just take the direct train from Frankfurt to Paris.
