Tickets to Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum
Hello! I made the horrifying mistake of not buying hypogeum tickets far enough in advance. I am interested in anyone's recent experience with trying to get last minute tickets. E.g. Where did you go (the internet has all sorts of answers), how early did you go, and did you succeed? Thank you! I am anguished!

I did the same thing Oct 2021.
Back then the only recourse was to line-up at Fort St Elmo hours before the ticket booth actually opened, and still there was no guarantee you'd succeed. It was raining for me so I didn't do it.
You could see if there is availabilty on a 3rd party tour like Viatour.

Our experience is not recent but when we visited there were some people who had booked but didn't turn up. I'd suggest either turning up first thing and try your luck or maybe an hour before closing and ask if you can buy a ticket there and then. Or ring up once you are in Malta and ask about tickets. You've got nothing to lose. I also noticed a 'last minute tickets' thread on the Trip Advisor forum, it may help.
