Tickets ot view Last Supper in Milan

Family of four will be in Milan the first week in August. We are trying to secure tickets to view the Last Supper - any suggestions?

There's someone on this board who has tickets that can't be used. Check out this thread.

If that doesn't work and you're staying in a hotel in Milan, ask the hotel to get tickets for you.

Official online booking: http://www.cenacolovinciano.org/english/prenota.html
You can only book online for a period beginning 1st October. For earlier dates, you have to phone the call centre (English spoken) at +39 0289421146
If none is available for your date(s), some commercial city tours include the Last Supper, which you can join after you arrive in Milan. Your hotel (if it's a high-end one) may be able to secure tickets. As a last resort, turn up at the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie and wait for possible cancellations or people not turning up for reserved slots. As August is a busy time with foreign tourists, I'd say your chance isn't good, esp for four tickets.

The best way to secure tickets is to book them two months in advance. A lot of tour companies buy up blocks of tickets and re-sell them at higher prices.

Perhaps you could look into a sight-seeing tour that includes tickets to the Last Supper? It's usually "Plan B" for people who are unable to get tickets on the day of their choice. TickItaly and Viator are some options, although they're most certainly more expensive than face value.

As previously mentioned I have 4 extra tickets I can't use for the 9th at 1:30. I don't know if that would work for you...
